I think they were little Grasshoppers

Hola!

Well we had a awesome week it really flew by. as you can see i ate more insects haha. i think they were little grasshoppers. they took me a little longer to eat than the ants i ate but tasted just about the same. we did have some bomb tacos that were they best i think i have ever had, i was too scared to ask what the meat was haha. we had a activity that was pretty sweet. it was with kids that were abandoned or had other problems and we played activities and they absolutely loved it. all the little kids kept coming up to us and looking at our eyes because they are blue haha. they misison is going well. the language is coming along for sure. its a little rough having a american companion because we have to figure it out for ourselves but its going well, we are having a blast! this week we are going to travel up to San Cristobal which is even colder than the area i am in now but a lot prettier because its high in the mountains. Octaviano Tenario of the 70 is coming to speak to us. he is the second counselor in the presiding 70 presidency in mexico so it should be pretty sweet! we found a lot of people this week that are way excited to listen to our message. i am loving this area because we are having a bunch of success. haha we converted a great grandma that has 9 children, 28 grandchildren, and 5 great grandkids haha it was awesome. she is sooo funny though. my companion got pretty sick last week and was in bed for like 2 days. it was awesome at first but got pretty boring after a while. but yeah that was our week! i love ya and miss ya. oh yeah i have over 8 months now haha that last month flew by. thanks for your prayers! hope everything is going well! smile, oren y lean

  2. Eat those grasshoppers Braden with your eyes closed and think chicken, chicken, chicken. You won't ever want to go back to Olive Garden again and eat pasta. Love you, Dad

  4. Oh Braden!! Grasshoppers? Really? yuck! The tacos looked okay, but did you eat that WHOLE plate?

That's pretty cool you were able to baptize a Grandma with so much posterity. Maybe they will want to learn more about the church through her example!

I'm glad the last month went by quick. I know it's hard when you can't understand the language and you aren't having success. So glad things are better! But if you had never been through the hard times, you would never really appreciate the good times! Opposition! It's part of the plan! Keep up the hard work! Love you!
